Jones, and runnine in a Tdor'ther]y direction 173 feet 3 inches to the property belonrzina to Mattie C. Hale, in the City of Iaducah, Kentucky, be and the same is hereby assessed the sum of ;;2.3615 per abutting foot for the cost of the construction of that portion of said allay with concrete; and that all of the property on both f sides of said alley from the property belonging to Tdattie C. Hale, at right angles, to the lost property line of Second Street, in the City of i Iaducah, Kentucky, be and the same is hereby assessed the sum of .;,2,1023 per abutting foot for the cost of construction of that ii portion of said alley with concrete. The alley on the Kentucky Avenue side is 23 feet .3 inches in -,•.idth, and the cost of each side thereof is 52.3615 per abutt foot, as cbove set-out; and the alley on the Second Street side is 19 feet 5 inches in +width and the cost on each side thereof is X2,1023 peri abiittinR foot, as set-out above, and as is sho:°n by the Engineer's Esti- mate. SECTION 2, That all of the finds derived from the ac-sessment of said Proper- ty aforesaid, shall be used for the purpose of payinP off the special tax bills issued against said property, or such bonds as may be issued by the City of Iaducah, pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes. SECTIOII 3. That pursuant to Section, 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes, said assessments may be, at the option of the property o"Tiers, payable in cash within thirty (30) days from the publication of this ordinance, or in ter, annual installments, as provided in said section. SECTIOT' 4. In order to provide a fund for the immediate payment of the cost , of th^t portion of the said assessment which may be paid on the `Pen Year Payment P1a.n, the City of £aducah may issue and sell improvement bonds; and, to secure the payment of said bonds, there :is hereby pledged such taxes I' r'rd liens on the property assessed herein for the payment of the principal' and interest, but such bonds shall nog; be sold for Less than par and accru- 6d interest, and the proceeds thereof applied exclusively in payment of the improvements hereinbefore mentioned, and Pu -,ch bonds, if issued, shall bear interest and shall be payable in accordance :•iith the provisions of Sections 3101 and 3102 of the Kentucky Statutes.
