IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY.
BE IT ORDALITED BY THE BOARD OF COM,,ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,'
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Public Affairs,
from the Contingent Fund, the sum of Fifteen Hundred (:1500.00) D011ars
to be expended, for the remainder of the year 1922, for the prevention,
control and treatment of venereal diseases in the City of Paducah, Ken-
tucky.
SECTION 2.

ViTEREAS, an Ordinance was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on July 1st, 1922, accepting the bid of E. R. Harding Company of Racine,
7isconsin, as the lowest and best bid, and reserving the right in said
,Ordinance to select any type of sewer or any class of material contained ini
said bid, deemed advantageous to the interest of said City, and the right
to select any alternate or alternates contained in said bid, and the Board

of Commissioners having this day selected Vitrified Clay Sewer Pipeto
be used in the construction of trunk line sewers in Sub -Divisions B. and
C. of Server District Number Three,- NOW, THEREFORE, -
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01MISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
Vitrified Clay Sewer Pipe is hereby selected and designated
as the class of material and type of sewer that shall be used by E. R.
Harding Company of Racine, Cdisconsin, in the construction of trunk line)
se -vers in Sub -Divisions B. and 0. of Seaer District Number Three. The
kihio£ materials herein selected and adopted are subject to change at
any time as set out in the Contract and Specifications for this work.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to mail, or
deliver to the said E. R. Harding Company a copy of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
