SECTION 1.
That the Specifications, informotion to Bidders, and Form of

Contract, as now prepared, to be used in the construction of trunk line
sewers in Sub -Divisions A. B. and 0. of Sewer District I?o. .3, be, and
the same are hereby accepted and adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
i
the City of Paducah, Y_entu.cky, as the specifications, Form of Contract,
and Information to Bidders, to be used in the construction of sewers in
Sewer .District To. 3, and a copy of same is hereby received and .filed,

SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall tale effect, and be in force from and after
its pacsa�e, record and publication.

Ordinance No.
Henry A. Pulliam, Commissioner of 7ublic Arks, is hereby
authorized and directed to .advertise for bids for the construction of
sewers in Sewer District iTumber Three on said date. He will advertise
for bids in the Official Fe:wspgter of the City of Ia,lueah, rent:ucky,
at least three times ten days before June 20th, 1922• and he will also
advertise for bids in the Engineer.inm Yews 2ecord on June Gth, and 15th,
and in the Engineering and Contracting Journal on June 14th. He is
hereby authorized to receive sealed bids for the construction of said.
sewer, at his office at the Cite Hall, Paducah, Lortucky, up until 10
o'clock A. R., June 20th, 1922, at which time he will present all of
said bids to the Hoard of Commissioners, when they shall be opened at
a public meeting.
S 0 T IOY 3.
Each proposal for work embraced in Sub -Division A. of 'Serer
District Kumber Three, shall be accompanied b;- a certified check, or
cash in the sum of Six.Thousand (5x6,000.00) Dollars; and each proposal
for work embraced in Sub-Divisi ons B. and C. shall be accompanied by a
certified check or cash in the som of Your Thousand 04,000.00) Dollars.
All certified checks shall be made pa mble' to the order of 71ynn Tully,
Commissioner of Public Finance, Paducah, "entucky.
SACT ION 4.
The Board of Commissioners res rves the right to select the bid
or proposal, the acceptance of which will, in its judgment, best secure
the efficient performance of the :fork, or to rej^ct any or all bids.
Proposals which are incomplete, conditional or obscure, or which con-
tain additions not called for, erasures, alterations or irregularities
of any kind, may be rejected ac informal.

This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage, record ani publication.
