The Commissioner of lublic '7orks is hereby Pivon the rip, -ht and
authority to.expend a scan not to exceed Sight Thousand (j8,000.00)
Dollars, for the purpose of engineer.i.ng, desip.'nir.g and mvkirm all plans,
specifications and WorkinP drawings for Se,<ver District i1,3 including rll
necessary materials and supplies.

S:�CTIOII 2.
Said sum, so expended by the Commissioner of Public 71orks, shall
Ibe charged to the Third District Sever Fund Account.
SECTION 3.
The Commissioner of Fublic Works shall make an itemized statement
of his expenditures, and file same with the Board of Commissioners on the
first of each and every month.
SECTION 4.
The Commissioner of Public V%orks is herebp given the authority
to employ such men, from time to time, as he deems necessary, for the pur-
pose of eno-ineerin,g, designing and making plans, specifications and work-
ing draWir_ms for said Sewer District -#13, but such men, so employed by said
Commissioner of Public Works, shall be reported at the first Regular Meet-
ing of the Board of Commissioners, after said employment, and said Commis-
sioners may ratify said employment, or discharge said men so employed.
SECTION 5.
The Commissioner of Public :7orks shall file with the Board of
Commissioners all working dra:•:ino-s, desi,ns, plans and specifications,
before same are to be used by the Cit;,, and no working drawings, desi,,-ns,
plans and specifications shall be used for the 'construction of se.iers in
Sewer District #3, until same have been adopted, approved and accepted by
the Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 6.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect from
and after its passage, record and publication.
