That Sub -Section 3 of Section 1 of an ordinance entitled, MY- ORDINAU02 PROVIDING FOR THE APIOII:Ti:ANT OR RET.'IMON, BY T'. BOARD OF C01"- UISSIDY RS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, OF CERTAM CITY OFFICERS, AG UTS AnD j Z,IPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, XEITUCXY, AUD 71XIIIG THEIR SALARIES, � PO'7_;R3 AI'D DUTIES," adopted by the Board of Commissioners on My 12th, 1919, be, and the same is hereby amended, by striking therefrom the words and figures "Nine Hundred (Q900.00) Dollars," and adding in lieu thereof the =cords and fipzres "Twelve Hundred Q1200.00) Dollars," so that said Sub- Section 3, of said Ordinance, when so amended, will read as follows, to -wit: "SUB-SECTIOid 3. CITY PHYSIC L -_Il. There shall be appointed by the Board of Commissioners one City Physician and one Assistant City Fhysioian,: both of whom shall be regolar practicing physicians of the City of Paducah,, Kentucky, and who shall be paid, respectively, a salary of Twelve Fundred (01200.00) Dollars a year for the City Physician, and a salary of Five No. 2"/ - Ordinance No.. Hundred ($500.00) Dollars a year for the Assistant City Physician, pay- able in monthly installments. The Assistant City Physician shall be a colored doctor, and it shall primarily be his duty to attend to the colored charity patients of the City, but who shall, in addition thereto, perform such other duties as may be required of him by the City Fhysi- ciao. The City Physician shall attend to and have supervision over, ^nd give medical aid to all indioent or pauper patients of the City of Paducah, and when called upor or directed by the head of his Department, he shall perform such duties, from time to time, as may be required of him in giving medical aid to or attendinn to the paupers and charity patients of the City. Said City Physician and Assistant City Physician shall perform such other duties as may be required of them, respectively from time to time, by the Board of Commissioners. He shall attend such meetings of the Hospital Board as he may be required to by said Board, and shall give such advice and aid to said Board, and perform such duties in connection with the maintenance, man- agement and operation of Riverside vospital as required of him by said Hospital hoard.''
