BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF 001.IISISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF P_4DUCAH, KENTUCKY Section 1. That an ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance Providing for the Appointment of an Officer to be Xnovm as Inspector of Weights, 1.Ieasures and Balances, and Dog Catcher, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and Defining his Duties and Salary," passed by the Board of Commissioners November 26, 1916 and recorded November 27, 1916, be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto after Section 7, Section 7- which shall' read as follows, to -exit: Section 71. Any person, firm, or corporation who shall brio.ingly, wrongfully, intentionally, wilfully, fraudulently, or incorrectly weigh or measure any commodity, merchandise, article or thing of value for sale or market- ing purpose, so that the purchaser of such commodity, merchandise, article or thing of value shall receive less of same than purchased, shall be fined not less than five (;T5.00) nor more than fifty (,'50.00) dollars for each offense. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, record and publication. Passed_ by the Board of Commissioners lday 6, 1918.
