BE IT ORDAINED BY TAE BOARD OF COILTISSIOItERS OF• THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KEEPTUCZY: Section 1. That there is hereby levied for the year 1918, upon the taxable property within the city of Paducah, Kentucky, real and personal, an advalorem tax of One Dollar and Forty-five cents pursuant to Section 157 of the State Constitution, and Forty cents (400, pursuant to Section 26, Chapter 137 of the 1912 Acts of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, making 11;1.85 on each one hundred dollars worth of said real and personal property in the City of Paducah, Kentucky; and there is also levied a poll tax of One Dollar and fifty cents (:;1.50) on each male resident of the City of Paducah over . twenty-one (21) years of age for the year 1918. Section 2. That the rate of taxation for each item of expenditure, as heretofore apportioned and set out by ordinance, shall be on each one hundred_ dollars worth of property, as follows, to -wit: Department of Public Affairs ..........21.1 6 Department of Public Property ........ 28.58V Department of Public Viorks ........... 27.16 Department of Public Safety .......... 35.45¢ Department of Public Finance ......... 32.63V Schools 40.00¢' Total 1.85 -.Section 3. That all revenue derived from licenses or other sources collected and paid to the Commissioner of Finance shall be dis- tributed to their respective accounts in the same proportion as the advalorem tax, as hereinbefore provided for, except sources of revenue which have not been considered_ in making up the Apportionment Ordinance„ and in the event of the collection of any revenue which was not consid- ered in making up said Apportionment Ordinance, then such revenue shall be • credited to the department through which such source of revenue is collected.
