WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Paducah, by Resolu-
tior., on July 9th, 1917, granted to the Mitchell Electric
Co. the privilege of putting up poles, etc. and establisl;is g a White
Way on Broadway oii the north side thereof fromi First to Fourth street
and on the south side of said street from, Second to .Fourth street, and
oii Fourth street from Broadway to Jefferson street- now, therefore, by
way of amendment to said Resolution,
It is hereby Resolved that the said L.itohell Lachine & Electric
Co, shell have the right, upo.: the comlletior_ of .0 Shite Way, to
transfer it to the merchLnts :;td other parties fer whom sage is tc be
installed, aiid that upon such tz•ar_sfer the liability of said Llitchell
Lachine & Electric Co. with respect to. the upkeep of said Iihite 17ay
shall cease and shall devolve -Upon the parties to whom the transfer
is made.
This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage.
