BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIOVERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
Section 1.
That the LIitchell Machine & Electric. Company be and it is
hereby authorized to establish and install what is commonly termed a
"white way" on the North side of Broadway from First street to Fourth
street, and on the South side of Broadway from Second street to Fourth
street, and on the East side of Fourth street from Broadway to Jefferson
street, and to erect the necessary posts and fixtures for maintaining
said lights from the date of the passage of this Resolution, and to
maintain and keep the said white -way in proper condition so long as the
City sees proper to permit the said white -way to be maintained and operated;
but it is understood that in the event of necessity arising for the
removal of said posts, wires and lighting apparatus, that the City shall
have the right, power and privilege to rescind this Resolution by notify-
ing the Mitchell Machine & Electric Co. of its desire and intention to
have said posts and fixtures removed from said streets, in which event it
shall be the duty of the said Mitchell Ifachine & Eleetrid Co. to remove
same as promptly and speedily as practicable.
Section 2.
This Resolution shall take effect from and after its passage.
