Section 1.
That Sub -section 1 of Section 5 of an ordinance entitled "LN ORDI-
NLItCE PROVIDING FOR TilE APPOI11TI:iENT OR RL'i'Ei"TION, BY THE BOsRD OF COL'-

PO'IiEItS Li,D DUTIES", passed by the Board of Conor issioners January 3, 1916
and recorded January 3, 1916, be and the same is hereby amended by
striking. therefrom the folloring words and figures as follows, to -wit:
"at a salary of Seven Hundred and Twenty
(w720.00) Dollars per year" -
and inserting in lieu thereof:
"at a salary of iline Hundred (900.00)
dollars per year" -
so that said sub -section when so amended shall read as follows, to --.-,it: '
" Sub -Section 1.
,.MIST. -1,'T STRELT INSPECTOR. There shall be appointed by the Board
of Coruaissioners an _ssistant Street Inspector, who shall be the Engineer
for the steam roller, at a salary of Bine Hundred (:900.00) Dollars per
year, payable in monthly installments. He shall perform such duties as
are required of him by the Street Inspector, Commissioner of 1-ublic Uorks,
and the Board of CormAssioners of the City of Paducah, from time to time. "
Section 2.
