7,1iERE.;S, pursi;tjA to said ordinance a contruct crus, on the
6th day of October 1916, entered into by.and between Harry Ross, of
the City of Paducah, and the City of Paducah for the construction of •
said street; and,
';.HERE -S, said contract has been completed in all respects
and the improvement therein provided for has been accepted by the Board
of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, 3entuoky , on the 2d day of
February 1917, pursuant to recoriendation made ti.erefor by the Commissioner
of Public 1.7orks of said City- now, therefore,
BE IP ORD-IIIED BY THE BO_.D OF COL1,1ISSIO?^LKS OF THE
CITY OF PaDUCnL, IXNTUCKY:
Section 1. That all the property on both sides of said street be,
and the same is hereby assessed the sum of One Dollar and Tc:enty-four
cents (•,1.24) per front foot for the cost of construction of said street
by grading and graveling same.
Section 2. That all the funds derived from the assessment of said
property siall be used for ti.e purpose of paying off the special tax
bills issued a,?ainst said property, pursuant to Section X96 of the
Kentucky Statutes.
:vection 3. =his ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage, approval and publication.
