A RESOLUTION FOR THE EXTMSION OF TIME FOR THE COL:PLETION OF
THE FOLLOCING CONTRACTS:
(1)
For the reconstruction of Jefferson street from the
Vest property line of Eleventh street where it enters
Jefferson street from the North, to the West property
line of Sixteenth street, as stipulated in ordinance
Ordinance
,�57, Book page 181, adopted by the Board of
Commissioners April 10th, 1916.
(2)
For the reconstruction of Broadway from the Ciest
side of the tracks of the Illinois Central Railroad
as now laid to the ":,est property line of 16th street,
as stipulated by ordinance Pio. 58, Ordinance Book page
183, adopted by the Board of Commissioners April 10,
1916.
(3)
For the reconstruction of Broadway and Jefferson
streets from the Crest property line of Sixteenth
street to the East property line of Seventeenth street
as stipulated in Ordinance No. 68, Ordinance Book
page 201, adopted by the Board of Commissioners I,Tay
12.th, 1916.
WHEREAS, the time specified in these ordinances for the
completion of the work is six months after the ordinances were
recorded, which would make the time for thecompletion October 25,
1916 and November 23, 1916, and
WHEREAS, owing to unavoidable delays, the contract was
not let until the 26th day of September 1916, and being inadvis-
able to undertake the work during'winter, now, therefore -
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C0I.4.1ISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF ?ADUC_H , KENTUOXY:
Section 1. That work on the above mentioned contracts be not com-
menced before April 1st, 1917, and be completed on or before
October lst, 1917.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its
adoption, record and publication.
