JHFRE.S, By reason of the fact that various streets' and alleys in the City of Paducah, Fent ucky dill, at times hereafter, be necessarily improved, and there having heretofore been placed in and under said streets ,pater -mains and water -pipes for the transmission of dater from point to point, both direct and by connection, noir, therefore, for the purpose of protecting the public interest - BE IT ORD_ INED BY ,.'HE BOLRD OF C0112.=ISSIO �_%S OFTHE CITY OF P=DUCLI, Sec. 1. That any mater company, corporation or individual shall chanGo or re -locate any water main or pipe upon ten (10) days notice from the Commissioner of Public ilorks, and in so charging or re- locating any such pipe the parties so notified are required to use either lead pipe or galvanized iron pipes for such purpose, end upon a failure of any mater company, corporation or individual to so change or relocate such pipes, when so notified, as hereinabove specified, such tater company, corporation or individual shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon. a conviction, shall bd fined not less than ten nor more than one hundred dollars for each offense, and prosecutions under this Ordinance shall be maintained in the police court of the City of Paducah.
