That the I.:ayor and :four Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky are hereby constituted a Board, to be knol:rzi as the Hospital Board. Section 2. That the Commissioner of Public Property shall be the ex officio chairman of said Hospital Board, and said Chairman shall be the executive officer of said Board and have the general charge and supervision of Riverside Hospital, in all respects, when said. Board is not in session, but subject to such rules, regulations and orders as may be hereafter enacted and promulgated by said Hospital Board. Section 3. Said Hospital Board shall have the control and management of Riverside Hospital, together with tic ?rounds and all buildings, and all of the affairs and business connected there:ith,-and shall have the right to determine the number and character of employees and nurses therein and therefor, and to define their duties and powers, and to fix their salaries, to create such executive officers in con- nection with the management, operation and maintenance of said hospital as they may deem necessary, and to adopt such rules and regulations and to maim such orders as may be necessary for the enforcement thereof as may be deemed expedient by said Board. Section 4. Said Hospital Board shall, by proper action, establish specified times for the meetings of said Board, for the trans- action of the business of said Board, which meetings shall be held at least once every two weeks. Section 5. For the transaction of any business coming before said Board any three members thereof shall constituto a Quorum, and upon any action taken by said Board a majority; of those present shall control in the voting upon said action. Section 6. Said Board may, by appropriate order, reluire the City Physician or physicians of the City of Paducah to be present at any or all meetings of said Board, and may further reduire him '-o perform such duties in connection with the maintenance of said Hospital and the treatment of the patients therein as may be deemed advisable by said Board.
