�,'herec,s, it is the sense of the board of ro^tmisioners of the city of
paducah that there shmild be it board of Health for sr -id cit -y, Vith powers
and functions similar to those of Boards of Health of cities of the second
class as nolo provided by law, Therefore:
Be it erdained by the Poard of Commissioners of the city of
pudurhh;
Ser:tion . I. That there shall be r., Board o:' Health of the City of
ptducah, to cosist: of' Six persons, not members of the Board _01p, Commis-
sioners, and at least tree of whom shall be competent Physicians, The 'Iaynr
of the city shall. be ea-officie. a member of such Board of Health, There
is hereby confered upon said Board of health, so far as the Board of
Cor•unissioners of the city of paducah has power to do so, all the rights ;
poarers a:id duties conferee by lavr upon Boards of Health of cities of
the second class.
Section. 2. The persons who constituted and composed the Board of '.
Health of the city of paducah on Oe—ember 31st, 1914. are hereby desig-
gated and appointed members of the PDard Of Health of the city of paducah
as provided for By this ordinance, until thier successors are appointed by
the Board of Commissioners and , as such shall be agents and employees
of the city of pacluceh.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect .,^.torn and after its pe.@{
sage, approval a.nd publicatiol as provided by law.
