WHEREAS, it appears to be necessary, and the 'abutting;
property holders and the public generally desire that the drive-
way on Broadway from the West curb line of ?First street to the
East curb line of Fourth street be reconstructed of improved
paying material -

Sec. 1. That the driveway on ;roar ::a-; from the West curb line
of First street to the 'East curb line of Fourth street be re-
constructed of improved paving material, consisting of vitrified
brick, concrete, bitulithic material, asphalt, or creosote blocks;
to be determined by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah as the most economic and best for the construction thereof,
and the cost thereof to be paid by the abutting property holders, 1
and assessed against the abutting property, and all of which shall
(at the option of the abutting property owners) be paid for upon
the ten year payment plan, and upon the publication of this
Resolution the City solicitor is authorized and directed to pre-
pare an ordinance for the construction thereof, in accordance
herewith.
Sec. 2, This -resolution shall tale effect from -and after its
