NEW ORLEANS RAILROAD
COMPANY THE RIGHT- TO CONSTRUCT A RAILROAD TRACK WENDING FROM ITS PRESENT
RIGHT-OF-WAY AT '. POINT NEAR °f°HE CORNER OF TENTH AND MONROE" STREETS, ACROSS
MONROE STREET, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KY.
Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Paducah, Kentucky:
Sec,l,That thrre isa hereby granted to the Chicago, St, Louis and New Orleans
Railroad Conpany the right to construct a spur track across Monroe street
from a point on the South Wide of Monroe street near corner of Tenth street
to a point on the North side of Monroe street; also across the alley inter-
secting the West side of Tenth street between Madison and Monroe Streets, in
the City of Paducah, Kentucky, with pourer to operate trains, and car3 and
engines thereon, A Plat or Map showing the loaction of said track across
said street, is herewith e,ttached to this ordinance and %%,,dc- part hereof as
fu:' -1y as if embraced herein,
Sec,2, The right hereinbefore granted to the said Chicago, St.Louis and Nevi
Orleans Railroad Company, however, shall be subject to revocation by the
General Council of the City of Paducah at any time the seid Railroad Company
or any of its successors, assigns, lessees, or persons, firms, companies or
corporations fail to keep said Monroe Street and. said Alley free and open
for use and travel.
