AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING TIIE SALARY THAT SHALL BE RECEIVED BY THE LAMP TRIWAFR, THE
ENG -TN .'EER, AND THE FIREMEN, OF THE ELECTRIC LIGH:' PLANT IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY.,
Be it ordained by the general council of tY,e city of Paducah,Kentucky,
SEC,1 That from and after thessa e approval and

ordinance. the following salaries s- all be p,,.j.d the following employes of ,he electric
light plant of the city of Paducali,Kentueicy,to4`ait;
The engineer, nine hundred d 11ars (6000) per. year, Payable in
monthly installments of seventy five (875) each;
The lamptrimmer, seven hundred twenty dclars ($720) per year,
payable in monthly install.men'.:s of Lsixty doll ,.rs ({60) each;
The firem;_n six bi.Lidred sixty dollars ($660) per year, p-yzble in
monthly installments of fifty five dollars (55) each,
SEC 2 This n= dinance she. 1 tcl-ce effect from and after its passage, approval. and
publication, and all Ordinances and parts of w din-nces in conflict herewith, are
heeeby repealed,

FOOT TO PAY FOR THE CONSTRJCTION OF SAID B STP,EET�
Be it oRdF.ined by the Mneral council of the city of Paducah, Ky.,
SEC.1 That whereas the city of Paducah has ller:cofore, acting by and through
:the board of public corks of ti.e city of Paducah, improved B sue e; , in the city of
P:�,duca',,Ky,, from a: point where sone intersects Seventeenth T reet to a point where t
same intersects Guthrie avenue, by grading and graveling thereof; and,
Whereas the constuction of se.id street was done under and by authority
vested in the board ,f public works of the city of Paducah by law , and the city of
Paducah has heretofore, and does by these presents ratify the action of the board of
public v-orks in the construction of said B street; and,
Whereas the property abutting on both sides of said B street has be ei
greatly b enefitted by reason of the construction of said str eet,
Now, therefore, all of the property abutting on both sides o stret
from a point where same intersects Seventeenth ,treat to a point vhere same intersects
Guthrie avenue,- is hereby assessed the sum of eighty nine cents(;�0,89) per lineal
foot, j'o^ the purpose of paying for the construction of said streets
SEC °t �L Thi costs of the construction of said street small be paid for wholly
by the property owners abutting or fronting thereon on both sides thereof,to be
apportioned to and assessed against the prone-rty and. propertyownars abutt.i::
