It appearing to be a necessity and desired by the property owners, I move that both
sides of South Hurrell Blvd from Norton to Husbands street be improved by laying there'
✓ on concrete gutters, granite curbing and concrete sidewalks.
this to be done on ten year payment plan.

Sec.l. That section one of an ordinance entitled" An Ordinance defining additional
duties of the Chief of the Fire Department and making him ex -officio building Inspec-
tor, and making the City Electrical Inspector Assistant building Inspector, and

!establishing rules and regulations concerning the erection and construction of build -
I
imgs in the City of Paducah Kentucky, and extending the fire lights of. the City of
!Paducah, Kentucky, and providing penalties for violation of any of the provisions her
jeof2 be, and the same is, hereby amended, by striking out all of said section one,
land inserting in lieu thereof, the following, to -wit;

;Sec. 1. That the City Electrician of the City of Paducah, Aentucky, and as such shall

;perform the duties hereinafter set, forth, and all of the duties prescribed in said
lordinance to be performed by the Building Inspector, or Assistant, shall be perform-
ed by the City Electrician, and ex -officio Building InspectDr.
Sec 2. For additional duties herein required, said officer shall receive the sum of
lenty—Dollars (120.00) Per month, so as to make the sum of One—TTundred (x100.00) pe
month, as full compensation of said officer for the performance of all the duties
required of the Electricial Inspector, and the Building; Inspector, for the City of
Paducah, Kentucky.
See. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be inforced from and after its passage
