Sec.3. said work shall be constructed under the direction of the
board of public works and the supervition of the city engineer, and shall be
commenced�at atime designated by the contract for the prefomance of said work
and completed on or before nove::iber ist, 1913.
See .4. The cost of such construction of said sidewalks ,curbs
and gutters -i with all neessary manholes, intakes , cath basins , sewers and
drivewairs therefor, shall be paid for wholly by the property owners abutting

against the property anl;`ovrners fronting or abutting thereon on both sides
thereof, according to the number of' feet fronting or abutting thereon , except
the corner lots abutting upon said improvement shall pat( for the entire cost
of all intersectionsin addition to the construction immediately abutting
said property , and the city of Paducah shall pay the cost Of construction
abutting? all public alleys.
Sec. 5. Thecontractor awarded the contract for the work herein

Sec.6. Thecontractor awarded the contract herein :shall be paid by nonthlp/-
improvement warrants issued by the city pf Paducah upon estimates furnished bythe
city engineer to the extent of si::ty—five percent (:6514.) of the value of the wort: done
