Whereas, the General Council of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, has heretofore, to-orit: On the 20th day of Hey, 1912, a6poted an ordinance, entitled, "An ordinance providing for the construction of concrete sidewalks and gutters, togather with gran- ite ranite curbing and all necessary nanholes, intakes, catch basins, sewers and driveways, on bot}1 sides of 11urrell Boulevard from Kentucky Avenue to Jones street, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, except the Fast side of one block belonging to J.L.Gardner, and lying between Ohio and Tennessee streets in said City"; and, Miereas, in accordacne with said ordinance it was provided that the cost of construction of said sidewr.lks, curbs, gutters, semsrs, intakes, manholes, catch basins and driveways, shall be paid for by the abutting property owners on both sides of said. street, except that portion to be paid by the City of Paducah, as reguired by lav'; and, Whereas, pursuant to said ordinance a contract was, on the 1st day of July 1912 entered into, by and between Yancey & Johnson and the City Of Paducah for the con:. -`E i i struction thereof; and Whereas, said contract has been completed in all respects, and the improvement there i in provided for has been finished, accepeted by the General Council of the City of i s Paducah, Kentucky, on the 21st daft of October, 192, pursuant to recommendation made; t1zeT'aflor by the Board of Public Works of the said City of Paducah: Now therefore, Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Paducah, Kentucky: Sec,l That all of the property on both sides of Murrell Boulevard, from Kentucky i Avenue to Jones street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, except the Fast side of one! In order to provide a fund fpr the immediate palrment of the cost of that portion of the special assessment herein provided for, which are to be i paid upon the installment payment plan, as hereinbefore provided for, the Ci;fij I of Paducah shall issue and sell improvement bonds in satisfaction of the collection of said special tax bills which are to be paid upon the install- tient paynent plan, and to secure the payment of which bonds there is hereby pledged such taxes and liens on the property for the payment of tho prir,_t-ipal gnd:,interest�:"of such bonds, and such bonds shall be sold for not less than par, and the proceeds thereof applied exclusively to the payr.ient of the cost of improvement, of said sidevralks, curbs and gutters hereinbefore :rientioned.; and such bonds shall be issued, and shall bear interest, and shall be pEyable in accordance with the terms od Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes, as amended and re-enacted by the General AsseMbllr of the COhimonwealth of 1Cent- itcky in the year 1910, hereinabove referred to. fiec. 5.
