That sidewalks, curbs end gutters, togneoather with all both manholes, intakes, catch basins, sewers and driveways therefor, on bboth I sides of North Sevent Street from Jefferson Street to Idadison Street, i in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, be and the sane are hereby ordered to be constructed. Sec. 2.. Said sidewclks ` shall be constructed of concrete material,anA the curbing therefor shall be of granit; and all of said work shall be (lone in stricted accord;.ance with the plans,grades specifications, widths. .nd Profile of the City Engineer, made and provided by him for such purpose, and all of which are adopted r,s a part of this ordinance as fully as if embraced herein or attached hereto, and the sane are made part hereof, and marked "A" for more specific identification. Said work shall be constructed under the direction of the Bord of Public works and the supervision of the .City Engineer,and shall be commend at a time designated by contract for the preforriance of said work,and completed on or before November 1st, 1912. i Sec. 4. Sec. 6.The contractor awarded the contract herein, shall he payed monthly by I !i:aprovement warrents issued by the ,City of Paducah upon estimates funished by the !City Engineer to the extent sof sixty rive per cent (65p')of the value of the work done by the contractor, dureing tl;.e progress of the work, and said i_rprovement warrents shall bear six per cent (616� intrest from elate of issue, and shall be 'EUI issued by the City Treaslirer upon order of the general Council. Said improvement :RS 1 warrents shall be negotiable, and constitiite a lien on the local taxes to be hereafter levied upon the property abutting said improvement, and for the makeing of such improvemeite, and shall be payable at the office d;f t]•e City Treasr urerwithout notice to the holder thereof„upon the completion and exceptance oP the work herein provided for, out of the first collections ofsuch local taxes, or out of the proceeds of the sale of any improvement bonds issued in anticipation of the tnr collection of such 10cal taxes. Sec. 5. The contractor awarded the contrdct for the work herein provided , shall be paid only from the funds ari8eing from the specal tax bills and I assessments against the property abutting the improvement herein provided for, and in no other way, except, that the said contractor may be paid out of such bonds that may be issued by the City of Paducah in accordance with the laws govering same, and gor the p--y,:ient for which the tax bills and assessments of the property abutting the therein dibscribed improvement, may be pledged by the City of Paducah, and in no event shall the said City of Paducah be liable to the contractor for the cost of the constr— uction of said sidewalks, except the portion thereof abutting public alleys, r.nd for the excess of fifty per cent(50�))of the value of ani such improved,propertyassessed for the improvement herein provided for. Sec. 6. The contractor awarded the contract herein, shall be paid monthly^ hvg,_mprovement warrents issued: by the City of Paducahi..:upon estimat i es furnished by the City Fngineer to the extent of sixty—five (65�b) Per cent of the value of the work done by the contractor, during.the progress of the work' and siad improvement warrants shall bear six per cent (611�2�> interest from date of issue, and shall be issued by the City Treasurer upon order of the General Council.
