Be it ordained by the General Council of the'City of Paducah, Kentucky. f,
Sec.l. That Section 19 of an Ordinance entitled " An ordinance fixing- and regulatin['
the manner and form of granting and issuing same on various lines of buisness) call:�'.

for the non-pairment thereof and the violation hereof "approved by the I%jayor December
18th. 1908, be and the same is hereby amended by adding- thereto the following- words)
.to-vrit;- " An annual license fee of two hundred and fifty (> 250.) dollars, due and U(
payable as other annual license fees herein mentioned, shall be. paid by every person,
firm, company or corporation earring- on, conducting- or managing-, in the City of S`;
Paducah a buisness of drug store wherein is sold spirituous, vinous or malt liquors
in quantities of not less than one quart or more than five gallons, not to be drunk r;
upoia the premises wherein same is sold" so that said section when so amended shall
read as follows, to -wit;- -# I �
"A licenes fee of,two hundred and fifty (/,250.) dollars shall be paid semi-
annizally bar every person, firm, company or corporation carrying- on) conducting- and
managing, in the City of Paducah, a coffee house or saloon wherein spiritious, vinous
or malt liquor is sold or given away by the drink. Said semi-e.nrual license fee shall -

be due and pa�7cble respectively on January 1st. and July 1st. of each year hereafter,
:and said license shali,ohly be granted under the terms and conditions herein set out,
and if any person, firm, company or corporation,to whom licenes has heen granted by
the City of P:,.ducah shall sell or offer for sale any spiritious, vinous or malt liquor;
on Sunday contrary to Section 2j hereof the I.Rayor shG.11 strictly enforce the provisse!
ions of Section 10 hereof.
