City;"—so that said section when so amended shall read as follows, to—crit;
"Section 1. That the office of City Electrician is hereby
created in and for the City of Paducah, Kentucky, Vdho shall be elected

by the General Council in joint session in the month of December of each
year, or as soon thereafter as practicable, and Who when so elected shall
hold his office for a term of one year, ,and until his succerror is duly
elected and qualified. He shall received a salary of 90.00 per month,
payable in semi—monthly installments. He shall give bond in the sum of
}1000.00 for the faithful performance of hid duties, as required of other
officers of the City."
