AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH
WOODENWARE FOR LEAF BAGS FOR FY2002/2003
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Paducah
Woodenware for leaf bags, with a provision of a year to year renewal, in the amount of
$42,300 for use in the City of Paducah's Yard Waste Collection Program for FY
2002/2003, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Paducah Woodenware, dated
August 14, 2002.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Paducah Woodenware, for the purchase of 500,000 leaf bags, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Grounds Supplies.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
