City Turnkey
An Ordinance Provicing for the Appointment of a Turn-
key for the City Jailer.
Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky,
Jailer to Section 1. That the City Jailer is hereby empowen.d
appoint
to appoint a turnkey- at the City Jail, whose appointment
shall be sent to the General Council, and confirmed by the
General Council, and when so confirmed, shall hold his
position for the term of one year.
Duties of Sec. 2. The duties of st:ch turnkey shall be such as are

shall be boss of the chain-�a0g.
Bakery Sec. 3. The salary of said turnkey shall be sixty dollar
(S6o.00) per month, payable monthly, as other salaries are
paid.
Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after
the election and qualification of the next Jailer.
