Diet for Prisoners. City Jailer's Salary.

City Jailer's Salary.
An Ordinance Fixing the Salary of City Jailer of Padu-
cah, Kentucky.
Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Pa-
ducah, Kentucky. '
Section I. That tb•- city jailer of the city of Paducah
Kentucky, elected in pursuance to the getieral'laws govern-
ing cities of the second class shall receive as his compensa-
tion for bis services the sum of thirteen hundred and twerty
dollars per annum, payuble in monthly installments as other
salaries are paid, and said salary is to be in full of all pay -

An Ordinance Providing for the Appointment of a Turn-
key for the City Jailer.
Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky.
Jailer to Section 1. That the City Jailer is hereby empowered

to appoint a turnkey at the City Jail, whose appointment
shall be sent to the General Council, and confirmed by the
General Council, and when so confirmed, shall hold hi%
