That tb•- city jailer of the city of Paducah Kentucky, elected in pursuance to the getieral'laws govern- ing cities of the second class shall receive as his compensa- tion for bis services the sum of thirteen hundred and twerty dollars per annum, payuble in monthly installments as other salaries are paid, and said salary is to be in full of all pay - meet of cooks or other help, which Elie said jailer may sec fit to employ. City Trunkey An Ordinance Providing for the Appointment of a Turn- key for the City Jailer. Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. Jailer to Section 1. That the City Jailer is hereby empowered aypotnt to appoint a turnkey at the City Jail, whose appointment shall be sent to the General Council, and confirmed by the General Council, and when so confirmed, shall hold hi% Position for the term of one year. butlesof Sec. 2.
