Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. Section 1. Pa yy torother publlestwns nlre of type lemt-monthly payments n may be due the owner of said official newspaper, for ordi nances, Mayor's addresses, financial committees' reports, proclamations, cgntractors notices, and all other publications the Board may order printed one or more times, the pay for said publications shall be three cents (3) for each and every line for the first insertion, and two (2) cents per line for each subsequent insertion, provided, however, that in mak- ing any publication other than printing the Council reports, there shall be used only brevier type, and there shall be made not more than one display line of pica type as a caption to each ordinance, address, proclamation, contractors' notice etc., and at no time s•liall there be made unnecessary para- graphs or break lines, though sub -section headlines and tab- ular work, when needed, may be used. Sec. 2. All ordinances, and parts or ordinances, in con- flict herewith, are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
