Meeting Place of General Council.
An Ordinance Fixing the Place for the Meeting of the
Board of Councilmen, Board of Aldermen, and the General
Council of the City of Paducah, in Joint Session.
Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of
Paducah, Ky.
To meet at Section T. That the room on the second floor in the
alty Hall City Hall, heretofore occupied by the Common Council in
the City of Paducah, and stylet) "The Council Chamber," be
and the same is hereby designated and fixed as the place for
the meeting and transaction of business of the Board of
Councilmen, the Board of Aldermen, and the general coun-
cil when in- joint session, but to be occupied ant' used by
the respective boards at different times.
Sec. 2. That ,this ordinance shall take effect from and
after its passage and approval.

Creating Board Police and Fire Commissioners,
Creating Board Police and Fire Commissioners.
An Ordinance Creating a Board of Police and Fire
Commissioners and fixing their Compensation. etc.
Whereas, the Charter of City of the second class re-
quires that there shall be a Board of Police and Fire Com-
missioners, the Mayor to' appoint and the General Council
to fix their compensation, therefore be it ordained by the
General Council of the City of Paducah. Ky.
Section t. That the Mayor appoint four Commission-

Sec. a. The said commissioners when appointed shall

perform all duties imposed upon them by the Charter, and
such further duties as may from time to time be required
of them by ordinance.
Sec. 3. The said Commissioners shall each give bond

in the sum of $50000. ,
See. 4. The said Commissioners shall receive a salary

of fifty dollars per year payable monthly out of the City
Treasury.
Sec. S. Said Commissioners shall ' meet at least once

each month and oftener on the call of the Mayor.
Sec. 6. Said Commissioners shall hold their meetings

Sec. 7. All ordinances in conflict with this ordinance
are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage and approval.
