the city upon the prescription or otherwise and to be paid
for by the city.

Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage and approval.

diseases, Fumigating Apartments and General Slnitat;nr,
With Notice to the County of the Existence of such
Contagion, and Prescribing Penalties."
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City'of
Paducah. Ky.
Section t. That when .the :Mayor of the City shall be .Duty of
notified of the existence of any contagions or infectious dis- Mayor
ease, such as small -pox, yellow fever etc., in the 'City,: he
shall notify the Health Officer of the City at once of its ex-.
istence and location, and said Health Officer shall give notice 0
to the County Judge of same. The Mayor and Health Offi-
cer shall immediately cause such case or cases of contag-
ious disease to be removed to the Eruptive Hospital or
Pest House, and without unnecessary delay, or shall quaran-
tine such cases against any or all other persons, except
those who may have, the said cases in charge.
