` City Physician,
1.—The office of city physician is hereby created. The

the month of December in each year, for the term of one
year. He shall hold his office for the term of one year,
and until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
2.—It shall be his duty ro visit and prescribe for all

promptly obey all orders from the mayor in relation to
the same. He shall see that they are properly nursed and
report to the mayor any negligence or want of care on
the part of those having charge of them. Any' notice from
any licensed physician or board of health'shall have his
immediate attention.
3. -He shall have charge of the city hospital, and he
