An Ordinance Deeiaring the Lot on Which the City Scales are Situated, Especially for the use of Patrons of the City Scales, and Prescribing a Penalty for Persons .Attempt- ing to use it Otherwise. Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Pa- ducah, Kentucky. _ Due of IM Section 1. That the lot on which the City scales are fixed situated in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, known as the Hay market, be, and the same is hereby declared to be, for the special use of patrons of said City scales, on which their wagons, horses and cattle, may stand,' and to be used for no other purpose. Sec. 2. That it shall be unlawful for any person not meet to orstruct lat having hay, corn, cattle or other things to be weighed oat said scales to.in any manner obstruct the said lot, by per-. mitting any vehicle or animals to stand. on said lot, or in any way occupy said li)t, and any person violating this or- dinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, And' on conviction in the Police Court of said City, shall be fined poll lty within the discretion of the Court, '.but 'not to exceed ten dollars ($to oo). The City Weigher is hereby directed to post vosted copies of this ,ordinance on said premises, one at the City scales, and at least four '(4) others at conspicious places on said lot Sec. $.
