It shall be unlawful for any traveling or itinei- ant doctor to practice medicine in any of its branches, irk, the city of Paducah or to open an office for such purpose, or to announce to the public in any way his intention to so practice. But nothing in this section shall be so constru- ed as to prohibit any reputable phyiscian .from any other place being called in consultation with any reputable ,phy- sician of this city. Whoever shall run or ride a velocipede, sidewalks bicycle or other vehicle of like character upon any side- . walk in the city of Paducah shall be fined therefor not less renaltY than $g nor more than $20 for each offense. Whoever shall maltreat or abuse any work anto als beast or other animal in the city of Paducah by overloading, excessive driving,' beating, maiming or excessive whipping, wounding or by working such animal without proper food and attention, or while such animal be incapacitated for work, either from disease, accident, deformity, old age or lack of food or flesh or other act of cruelty towards such animal, shall be fined not less than $g nor more than $to hmult7 for each offense; and on the second conviction the line shall . not be less than twice the amount of the fine imposed for the first conviction for such offense. Regulation Sec. 24. No person shall erect any telegraph or tel- ' ephone poles or other pole for like purposes in the city of Paducah unless such pole be straight, cleanly and smooth. No such pole shsll be braced or propped by guy poles or other support, nor be si placed as to obstruct the passage way from any building to a street or alley. Such use of ' vehicles is hereby prohibited, whether run for hire or grat- wlwn voters uitously. Any voter may ride to the polls in his own vehicle, niay ride but he shall not carry another. Persons may ride to the polls on street cars if they pay their own fare. Regulating the Sale of Milk. Set, 26. If any person shall violate the provisions of this section he shall be fined $5 for each such violation. Regulating the Sale of Milk. Be it Ordained by the General Council of the City of • t Paducah, Kentucky. Section I. That no pei son 'shall bring or send into the permit city for sale any milk without a permit to do so from the 'MLLE Meat and Milk Inspector, said permit to be furnished grat- uitiously, by the Meat and Milk Inspector to all applicants, and to be renewed in the month of January of each year to he valid. Sec. 2. All milk wagons shall have the name of the Nameof owner and the number of the wagon or • vehicle painted F��U° thereon plainly and legibly. Sec. 3. No milk which is unwholesome or which has Adulterated been watered, adulterated, reduced or changed in any re- sold n°s to be spect by the addition of water or other substance, or by the removal of cream, shall be brought into, held, kept or of- fered for sale at any place in the city of Paducah, nor shall any keep, have or offer for sale in the said city any such milk except as providedfor in this ordinance. Sec. q. The terms adulterated or unwholesome as Terms th' dinance• defined , used to this ordinance, are held to mean n Is or t I—Milk containing more than eighty-eigbt (88) ver cen- tum of water or fluids. 2—Milk containing less than twelve (12) per centum of milk solid.
