' An Ordinance Requiring and Directing the Nashville', ' Chattanooga and St. Louis Railroad Company to place a safety este flagman and a safety gate or gates at its railroad crossing at Twelfth and Norton streets in the city of Paducah, Ky. Be it ordained by the General Council, of the City, of •r• Paducah: Section t. That for the protection of life and property of the citizens of Paducah, Kentucky, the Nashville, Chat- Nortttt'and 1\orton tanooga and St. Louis Railroad Company be and it is hereby streets required and directed to immediately erect, maintain and operate at its own expense tinder the supervision of the : City Engineer, a safety gate or gates at its railroad crossing at Twelfth and Norton streets in the City -of Paducah, Ken- tucky, the same being a public street crossing, and to keep a watchman in charge of same at all times, day and night. Each day of failure to comply with any provis- ion of this ordinance shall constitute a separate offense, and fpr each such offense, the offender shall be fined not less than .twenty-five dollars, nor more than one hundred dollars.
