Inspector the fact and at once apply for and obtain the
Treasurer's receipt and license from the Clerk as in other
cases, which last named license shall also expire on the 3oth.
day of the following April, and the price to be paid by the
applicant therefor shall be in proportion to the time such ir-
regular license has to run according to the annual rate
aforesaid.
Sec. 4. That all provisions of previous ordinances to
the extent the same may be in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall take effeffct from its passage and approval, provided
the same shall be accepted in ten days after its passage and
approval :by the Paducah Street Railway Company and
the Peoples Railway Co. in writing filed with the Council
Clerk.

Bawdy Houses.
An Ordinance for the Suppression of Bawdy Houses or
Houses of III Fame in the City of Paducah, Ky.
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Paducah, Ky.
Section r. That it shall be unlawful for any person or /
persons, firm or corporation to rent, lease, dr let to any
Person or persons, any building, shouse, or room in the City
of Paducah, as a bawdy house or to be used as a place of
prostitution or assignation.
See. 2. That any person or persons, who shall within
the City of Paducah, establish or carry on, or permit to be
carried on, on his or her property or premises, any bawdy
hottse or houses of ill fame shall upon conviction for each

offense be fined not less than $25.0o nor more than $loo.00,

and that each twenty-fourhours same is carried on or per-
mitted to be carried' on, shall constitute a separate offense
under this section.. '
Sec. 3, That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance is hereby repealed 'and this
ordinance shall be in force from and after its passage and
approval,

Air Guns and Flobert Rifles.
An Ordinance Prohibiting the Firing of any Air Guns
.Flobert Gun or Toy Gun Within the Corporate Limits of
the City of Paducah, With Penalties for the Violation of
its Provisions.
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Paducah,
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful to shoot within the
corporate limits of the City of Paducah any air gun; Hobert

See. a. That for a violation of the provisions of Sec,
1, of this ordinance, the
