LANG, Mayor- i Minors Entering Saloons. An Ordinance to Prevent Minors from Entering Sa- loons and Prescribing Penalty Therefor and Thereunder. Be it ordained by the members of the Common Coun- cil of the city of Paducah, Ky. 61hiorn for Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person bidden to enter saloons under the age of 21 years, to enter any saloon or coffee house, within the limits of the city of Paducah, or in any manner to frequent or rt main in any such saloon or coffee house, _where intoxicating liquors is sold, by retail or by Exepotlons the drink, provided that nothing herein contained shall pre- vent any person under the age of 21 years from entering or being in such saloon or coffee-house on legitimate business or lawful mission. And further provided that this ordinance shall not apply to persons under the age of 21 years who may enter or be in such places herein mentioned, with the written consent, or under the care and custody of the Penalties parents or guardian of such person. Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be fined not less than $25.00 nor more than $go.00 for each and every gffense. saloon Sec. 2. LANG, Mayor. i Goats Running at Large An Ordinance to Prevent Goats From Running at Large. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Paducah, Ky. Section t• It shall be unlawful, for the owner of any paygt goat to suffer the same to go or run at large upon any of the streets, alleys or unclosed lots or ground in the City of Paducah. Sec. 2. Any person who.permit or suffer any goat to Vine fixed run at large as specified in Section 1 of this ordinance shall be fined -not less than five dollars nor more than Twenty for each offense. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. „ This ordinance shall take effeft from and after its Passage and approval. I Adopted, April. 14, 1898.
