at the time of any fire or alarm of fire, or at any other time
by order of the Mayoror Chief cf the fire department, it
shall then be unlawful for any person. or persons to lead or
drive, or haul any vehicle over or upon same, or in any other
drive or haul ani vehicle over of upon same, or in any other
manner injure such hose.
Sec. 2. Any person who shall violate any of the provis-
ions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $5.0o nor
more than $10.0o for each offense.
Sec. 3. All ordinances in conflict with this ordinance
are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect
after its passage and approval.

Vehicles at Depot.
An Ordinance to Regulate and Define the Rights and
Regulate the Conduct of the Owners and Drivers or
Their Agents or Solicitors of Vehicles for hire at Railroatl
Depots in the City of Paducah, Ky.
Section t. Tdtpt it shall bE unlawful for any owner or
agent for such owner or driver of a vehicle of any char-
acter, run for the purpose of conveying passengers to or
from any railroad depot in the city of Paducah, to go upon
the platforms of said depots, or the passage ways leading
to said platforms, for the purpose of soliciting patronage
for such owner or driver of any vehicle, or to drive or back
up such vehicle in front of or alongside of any general pas-
sage way or foot way reserved for passengers leading to or
from said depot, but such person must remain at his vehi-
cle whilst soliciting patronage by calling number of hack.
And when permitted to stand upon depot grounds must
back alis vehicle no to such platforms as are set aside for

their use by the several companies as indicated in their '
posted notices, in such a manner as not to occupy a space
along side of such platforms greater than the width of the
vehicle.
Sec, a. Any person violating the provisions of the first, Penalties
section of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction in the City Court shall be fined in a
sum of not less than $�.00 nor more than $1o.00 for each of-
fense.,
t' Sec. 3. All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
ti repealed and this ordinance shall be in force from its pas-
sage and approval.

An Ordinance Regulating and Preventing Children un-
der the age of Sixteen from being upon the Streets and
other Public Places after Certain Hours of the Night and
Prescribing Penalties Under Same.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and members of the Com-
mon Council of the City of Paducah.
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any infant un-
der tale age of sixteen years to be upon the street, alley, va-
hours tut
cant lot, wharf or other public place, or in or about public
buildings within the city limits of the City of Paducah,
after the hour of 9 o'clock in the night time, during the
l Months of April, May,June, July, August and September;
and after the hour of Eight o'clock in the night time during
the months of October, November, December, January,
February and March, unless such infant shall be accompa-
nied by his or her parent or parents, guardian or other
pa}eut,and
