Sec. 3. Tapping Electric Light Poles Etc. 1'nluw•ful 1,ts Pi,naltlos N olse alarms Penaltieq Exceptions Be it ordained by the common council of the City of Paducah, Ky. Section t. That it shall be unlawful for any person, to in any manner disturb any fire alarm box, or Fire alarm Key box, or anything appurtenant thereto; unless under the ad- vice and instruction of the Chief of the Fire department or his Assistant Chief. Any person or persons violating the provisions of this section; upon conviction shall be fined in any amount not less than $25 nor more than $too for each offense. Sec. 2. That it shall be unlawful to knowingly turn in a false alarm of fire, any person convicted of violating the provisions of this section shall be fined in any sum not less than $25.00 nor more than $too.00 for each offense. Provid- ed, that the Chief of the Fire Department or the Assistant Chief, or other persons acting for them, may turn in a false alarm when practicing time runs, training horses or men in the Fire Department, or in exhibiting the working of the System. Sec. 3. That all ordinances and parts thereof in con- flict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby re- pealed and this shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
