Sec. �That any y person violating the provisions of
this ordinance shall be fined not less than five dollars nor
more than twenty doll rs for each offense, and the party for.
whom said work may Le done shall likewjse be liable to
such fine.
And this ordinance shall take effect from its passage
and approval.

Peddling Groceries Etc.
An Ordinance for the P grpose of Prohibiting the Sale
on the Streets and Highways of the City of Paducah, of
Staple groceries by Hucksters and Pedlers, with Penalties
Thereunder.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Pa-
ducah.
Certain
Section 1• That it shall be unlawful for any individual

firm or corporation to sell, or offer for sale, or peddle on

the streets, alleys or public highways of the City of Fa-
ducah, Ky. any of the following articles, to -wit:- flour, meal,
salt, sugar, coffee, of any kind, molasses, canned goods of
any kind, soaps, stardlt, china or crockery ware, meat or

H. a producers of same, or
sausage of any kind without the party so selling or offering
to sell are the pacers dff the meat from which the said `
sausage is made, and said meats shall not be gold in quanti-
ties less than quarters of the animal offered for sale, and
