All gravel to be received for the purpose of Inspected any repairing as indicated in this ordinance, shall be in- spected and measured by the City Engineer, or some one duly authorized by him 'for that purpose, and should any of the gravel presented or offered by any Contractor be unsat- isfactory by reason of its not coming up to requirements herein specified, it shall be the duty of the said Engineer, or his agent, to remove the same at the cost and expense of the contractor. Sec. 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Sec. q. This ordinance shall take effect on and after its passage and approval. An Ordinance in Regard to the Breaking, Cutting or Digging in the Streets of Paducah. Be it ordained by the Common Cpuncil of the City of Paducah. Section t.
