Unsafe Buildings.
An ordinance providing against building and other
structures being allowed to remain and exist abutting any
street which may be considered dangerous or detrimental to
the public, and providing for penalties to be imposed upon
the owner, occupant or agent of any such house or other
structure for permitting the same to remain in such condi-
tion or for occupying the same.
- Be it ordained by the members of the Common Council
of the City of Paducah.

Section t. That whenever any complaint shall be

made or whenever it shall appear that any building or other
structure within the limits of the City of Paduch is danger-
ous or detrimental to the public, it shall be the duty of the
Mayor to appoint some discreet and competent builder or
other well qualified person, whose duty it shall be to make

building or other structure and immediately thereafter re-

and as to whether the same 's dangerous or detrimental to
the public, and when any report made by any such person
as aforesaid elected, shall be to the effect that any such
building or other structure is dangerous or detrimental to,
the public, it shall then be the duty of the Mayor to. cause

Protecting Granitoid Sidewalks.
An ordinance protecting cement and granitoid sidewalks
from being damaged before same may be ready to be used,
with penalties. I
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Paducah, Ky.: •
Unlawful to Section t. That it shall be unlawful for. any owner of
