Signs Over Sidewalks.
An ordinance regulating the erection of signs across
and over any of the streets of the City of Paducah, and im-
posing penalties for violation of the same.

Penalties
See. 2. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance, shall be fined nor less than $s no nor more
than $2000 for each and every offense.
See. 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage and approval.

Be it ordained by the members of the Common-Counell
of the City of Paducah:
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for the owner or

the City of Paducah, ( r in any manner to cause any ob-
struction of the streets of the City of Paducah by means of
any driving or the standing of any such vehicle. Provided `
that any such express wagon may be allowed to stand
when not being used on that portion of Court street be-
tween First and Third streets and on Jefferson street between
tst and 2nd streets which will be known and designated
as a public vehicle stand where all owners or drivers of
such vehicles shall be required to occupy a position in the,
territory and locality as defined herein:
Provided, further, that nothing in this section shall be

wagons for the purpose of loading or unloading passengers
or freight of any kind, or transacting legitimate business of
express, . wagons 'driver thereto.
Sec. 2. Any person or persons violating the provisions

than $5.00 nor more than $2o.00 for each and every offense.
Sec. J. This ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage and approval.
