License Inspector.
An ordinance creeing the office of "License Inspector"
of the City of Paducah, prescribing his dntita aid election
and fixing his compensation.
Be it ordained by :he Common Council of the City of
Paducah:

Section I. That there is hereby created the office of
"license, inspector" of the City of Paducah, and the incum-
benr of which shall be elected by the Common Council in
the month of December of each year, for the term of one
year, and until his successor shall be elected and qualified,
and if for any cause the election shall not take place in the
month of December, then as soon thereafter as practicable.
That his duties shall be all those prescribed in ordinance No.
11 of the late revised ordinances of the City of Paducah un-
der title "License Inspector," and he shall give bond and
surety as other officers of Paducah who are required to give
bond. That he shall also do and perform such other duties
as the Common Council shall prescribe, and for all his ser-
v;ccs he shall receive an annual salary of $boo, payable
monthly out of the city treasury.
Sec. 9. That all that part of section three of ordinance
No. 16, under title "Policemen," of the late revised ordi-
nances of Paducah concerning license inspector of Paducah,
and especially the manner of his appointment be and the
same are hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. That said license inspector, as compensation for
all his services in the p_•rformance of all his duties as now
required and hereafter that may be required, payable monrhly
out of the city treasury, and this ordinance shall take effect•
from its passage and approval.
