Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage and approval.

An ordinance granted to the Chicago, St. Louis and New
Orleans Railroad company, its successors or assigns, the
right to construct and maintain a railroad track across Mey-
ers street from a point in block 28, owned by the Paducah
Cooperage company, diagonally and in a northeasterly direc-
tion to a point where said track would touch the property of
the Paducah Cooperage company on the east side of Meyers
street in block 22.
Be it ordained by the General Council of Paducah, Ken-
tucky:
Section t, That the Chicago, St. Louis and New Orleans
Railroad company, its successors or assigns, is hereby grant-
ed the right to construct and maintain a railroad track across
Meyers street from a point in block twenty=eight (28), own-
ed by the Paducah. Cooperage company, thence diagonally
and in a northeasterly direction across Meyers street to a
point where said railroad, when constructed, will touch the
property of the Paducah Cooperag, company, in block
twenty-two (22) on the cast side of said street. A blue print
showing the right-of-wa,v is filed, with this ordinance,ref erred
to and made a part of same.
Sec. 2. Said track shall be of standard gauge and con-
form to the grade of the street (so far as practicable) and
where it is necessary, for the purpose of drainage, proper
culverts are to be erected an<I maintained at the cost of the
' Chicago, St. Louis and New Orleans Railroad company, for
the free flow and passage of water. And said track is to be

kept and maintained in good condition and repair by said
railroad company.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect from its passage
and approval.

An ordinance granting to the Chicago, St. Louis and
New Orleans Railroad company, its successors or assigns,
the right to construct and maintain a railroad track across
Meyers street from a point in block twenty-six, thence diag-
onally across Meyers street to a point in block twenty, to a
point where said railroad would touch the property now
owned by the Seacoast Mineral company on the north side
of Meyers street in said block twenty.
Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Pa-
ducah, Kentucky:
Section r. That the Chicago, St. Louis and New Or-
leans Railroad company, it.; successors and assigns, is hereby
granted the right to construct and maintain a railroad track
across Meyers street from a point in block twenty-six,
thence diagonally and in a northwesterly direction across
Meyers street, the right-of-way described as follows: "Com-
mencing at a point whem the center of the track would strike
the south side of Meyers street about three hundred and
fifty-four (354) feet ea%t of the east side of Woodward street,
at the property now oc_upied by F. A. Scott, thence in a

ly across Meyers) street to a point on the north side 'of Meyers
street about two hundred and twenty-five (tag) feet east of the
ease side of Woodward street."
A blue print showing the right-of-way herein granted for
said railroad track is filed herewith and referred to and
made a parr of this ordinance.

Sec, s. Said track shall be of the standard gauge and

ble) and where it is ne_essary for the purpose of drainage

New Orleans Railrbad company, its successors and assigns,
the right to construct a track in Ninth street and across
Trimble street, Clay stn:et and Ninth street, and to' operare
its trains and cars thereover.
