Amendment to Steam Heating Ordinance,
An ordinance granting to the Paducah Steam Heating
Company Permission to Cross Broadway at Fifth Street
With Pipes Instead of at Fourth Street.
Be it ordained by the General Council of the City, of
Paducah, Ky.
Section t. That the Paducah Steam Heating Company,
be, and the same is .hereby grantedpermission to lay its
Steam heating pipes and fixtures on Fifth street crossing
Broadway street at the intersection of Fifth and Broadway, _
instead of crossing Broadway street at the intersection of
Fourth and Broadway, as is granted, in its franchise hereto-
fore sold said company by the City of Paducah, Ky., persu-
ant to an ordinance authorizing and directing the sale of the
same. But this grant.i; given on condition that the said
Steam Heating Company surrender all rights and privileges
heretofore 'granted it for the crossing of Broadway street at
Fourth street, and an acceptance of this grant and the laying .
of the pipes and mains by the said Paducah Steam Heating
Company across Broadway street at the intersection of said
Broadway and Fifth strzets shall be considered and accepted
as a surrender of its privilegeslof crossing Broadway at the said
intersection of Fourth and Broadway streets.
Sec. a: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are -hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect from and.after its passage and approval.
