Right of Way.
Paducah Iron Company.
Be it ordained by the mayor and tLe common council
of the city of Paducah, Ky.:
t. That there is gr anted to the. Paducah and Gulf'i •Rail-
v road company the right of way to build, construct and use un--
der the charter of said company a .railroad across Broadway
street, Cortest strece, Clay street and Trimble street, and
thence down what is known as the reserve ground in Flour.

the river „nd up NIarkct street to Jefferson street, and the
rr right of way for rho building and the running of said rail•
roan is granted unto said company, acrars any public street
that is now or may hereafter he cstahlished to Paducah,
which crosses or may hereafter cross t•h! line of said desig-
nated route of said road.
2. It sha!1 be the duty of said Paducah & Gurf Railroad
company to keep the crossings bt good repair, also the streets
up and down which they may run their tracks, at their own
rAperce, and for a failure to do th:s th- said company shall
be fined not less than $lo nor more than $20
d-hrrs for sank of said crossings or streets remaining out of
hoed repair.

Be it ordained by the mayor and council of the city of
Paducah, Ky.
t, That there is hereby granted to the Paducah Iron
company or its assigns the right of way to construct and op•
erate a standard gauge railroad over Norton street. and
across Third and across all streets intersecting Norton street; -

or that may hereafter b e established intersecting said Norton
street in the city of Paducah from the vrnnnd now owned by
the Paducah Lumber company on Third street to the New.
port News & Mississippi Valley railroad track at the west-
ern end of Norton street. Provided, that the work of con-
structing the railroad be commenced within six months and
completed within two years.
z. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
pas4age and publicaticn. t:
