Custom House Sewer.

j An ordinance granting the right of way to the United

j States government to construct a sewer from the United
States courthouse and postofl'ice building under Chestnut
I
and Jefferson streets to connect with the city sewer at the
i
foot of Jefferson street.

Be it ordained by the mayor and city council of the .city
of Paducah, Ky.:
1. That the United States government is hereby grant-
ed the right of way and full power and authority to con-
struct a sewer of any dimension from the United States
courthouse and postoffice building in the said city along
Chestnut street to Jefferson street and down Jefferson street
to connect with the city, sewer at she foot of Jefferson

szrtet.
2. Said street shall be put in good condition by the Unit-
ed States government at the complttion of the sewer.
3. This ordinance shall take effect from its passage.
