U., upon call of the roll the following answered their names: Bums. Gardner, Havelip, Tally and Wooldridge- 5. On motion of Member Gardner, that whereas, the scarcity of labor Is such in City Light Paducah at this time that it Is impossible to secure the services of a reliable Plant. lineman for the City. Light Plant at $85 per mouth or under $100 per mouth. -that the Com -Ir of Public Works be allowed, to give cash order checks for the difference per mouth beginning Nov. 28, 1918, the date on which Mr. Force. Supt. of -the plant, secured the services of a lineman-- oarriel.upon call of the roil by 5 yeas. P*W*Ko : On motion of Mayor Burns, that the trial of P. W. Mooney be continued to next trial rNy, Wednesday. Dec. 4th, to be tried at that time without any further continuance, said heart— to De at seven o'clock P M - carried upon oall of the roll b the follows vote: Yeas. Burns, Hasslip, Tally and Wooldridge. 4. Member Gardner excused from ..voting. P.W.Mooney On motion of Member Gardner, that the Street Inspector., Mr. Fred Mooney, be suspended temporarily. suspended or relieved from the duties of his office without pay from this date ..Until the completion of the trial by the commissioners of the allegations against said Mooney now being Investigated, and until his innocence or guilt be determined by this Bo&r&-*oarried upon call of the roll by 5 yese. On motion the Board adjourned upon call of. the roll by the following vote: :4 Yeas, Barna, Gardner, Hazolip, Tully and Wooldridge- 6.
