On motion of ltembor Washington..?? ; the pay roll for the Street Dept. for the week i ending Aug. 17, 19179 amounting to $10446; not covered by.ordinanae, as per attached I etatement of Com'r of Works, was allowed upon call of the roll by 6 yese. `. On motionof Member braves, the resignation of Dr. Jackson, heretofore received and filed, woe accepted, and the office of City P5:', y hyeiainn declared vacant by reason of , said resignation, upon call of .the roll by. 6 yens. C' On motion of 'Mayor Burns, Dr. J..B.
