At an adjourned meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, KY.. on July 3d, 1917, upon null of the roll the following answered their, names; Gardner. Graves, Marton and Washington- 4. on motion.of Member Ora yaoi the minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as C. 11 read upon call of the roll by 4 yous. Member Graves offered the following motion: That the Com1r of Public Works be authorized and instructed to look into and remedy the conditions -by way of drainage r described In the petition of numerous oltisons In Littleaville. or In Little's Addition, by putting saver pipe In, or by other means as doomed proper by him adopted on call of the roll by 5 yeas. Member Graves offered the following motion: That the Paducah Grain & Elevator Co. be and to hereby authorized to aroot and build a platform or traok.aauleo..und6r th I. 0. Railroad trucks at or near the corner of First and Viaebington atroate, provided they obtain the right from the -I. O..R. R Co.,.froo of any cost to the City of Puducai and to be orooted under the supervision of the dom1r of Public Works, and to be V removed at any time by order of the city- adopted on call of the - roll by 4 yous. Member Graves offered the following motion; That the petition of property owners and citizens at and near the corner of 10th and Harrison* St. for an aro or street light at said oorner, be referred to Oom1r of Property for consideration, with authority r ty to act as he doome proper, and that said petition be reaelvod and filed together with "A this motion- adopted on call of the roll by 4 . y000.' Member Graves reads communication from Jac. K. Hendrick, Olty Solicitor, relative, to bonds of members of the Board of Park 00mmlaelonare, and upon motion came was received and filed upon call of the roll by 4 yeae. Member Graves read the following motioni That the applications of B. Pricater A t�_Ur & Co. of III V. Third St., Claude Riley on Benton Road, H. Wall & Son, I13 X. End St. and Goo. H. Goodman &.Go.. 106 11. Second St., for quart liquor license at said re.
